About DAR UX
DAR UX is a consultancy which specializes in designing websites, applications, software, and platforms with a focus on User Experience Design & Research. This is a human-centered approach to design and takes into account psychology, human-centric mental models and intuitive design.
DAR UX began in 2022 as a pro bono project started by Dariya Bryant to help immigrant communities, especially those of immigrant and minority-owned/run businesses and organizations navigate the digital side of their venture, starting with one of the most important digital business tool - their website.
Immigrants consistently face a variety of cultural, language and other barriers, and yet work tirelessly to bring such a breadth of expertise, creativity and value to the table. Having come from the world of contemporary art, Dariya realized also that it was a challenge for many talented and creative people to showcase their craft digitally.
As DAR UX took on projects in Dariya's immediate community, the demand for website and digital product services grew, DAR UX became a consultancy business in its own right, helping its community make this world a better place, one digital product at a time!
The mission of this consultancy is to help creative individuals, small businesses and do-good organizations and members of underprivileged communities, feel empowered and confident when presenting their best digitally to the world via their website, app, and other forms of products.
This is done by helping them understand the role User Experience Design plays in how their clients/patrons experience the products and services they offer digitally, share resources and tools, provide solutions and execute on those solutions.
In an effort to support underprivileged communities, DAR UX is committed to offering ongoing mentoring sessions and sliding scale options for qualifying groups and organizations. Take a look at the services currently offered.

Hi, I'm Dariya [dáddia], you can call me Dar!
A bit about me: born in Ukraine, raised in Far East Russia, schooled in Alaska, and for the last 10 years have been a proud Coloradan, enjoying the sunny days of the Rockies!
I am a linguistics nerd, a salsa dancer, an art collector, a foodie and a mermaid (try getting me out of water)!
I love User Experience and Product Design because they encompass the areas of life I care deeply about: understanding people, breaking down complex problems, solving puzzles, thinking creatively, and collaborating, while creating access and fostering inclusivity.
I am extremely grateful for all the experiences and people who have shaped my journey as an immigrant, and I started this consultancy as a mission to pass it forward to marginalized individuals and advance equity for underrepresented communities, especially those of immigrant women.
I enjoy networking, empowering others and mentoring.
